It officially that time.... off to Vail we go!!
Back when I lived in NYC some of my girlfriends and I would "shop" in each others closets and borrow and trade items to save some $ and pick-up some fun "new-to-us" items. It was one of my favorite traditions. Now one of my favorite traditions is following The Coveteur and getting lost in the closets of some of my favorite female icons. I could probably waste entire days upon days soaking in every stylized detail in each closet post. Today I found myself lusting / drooling over the closet of Rosie Hungtington-Whiteley. She's so impeccably organized!! "I recommended matching clothes hangers; the thin ones allow for more space. Always fold knitwear, and if you really want to go for it, you can color coordinate everything!" - Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, The Coveteur Sing it sister!! XX
Maybe it's the whole wedding/ bride thing, but I am pretty much obsessed with all things white these days. In particular, white sneakers just like grandma's! Swoon. You go grandma... you go! 1. Adidas Stella Casual Mesh High Top Sneakers // Shopbop
2. SuperGA Cotu Lace Sneakers // Victoria's Secret 3. Vince Blair Slip-Ons // Neiman Marcus 4. The Blonde Salad for Steve Madden TNYC Slip-On Sneaker// Victoria's secret On Saturday afternoon I had the pleasure of hitting the gym with some of Boston's finest bloggers for a spin class at Flywheel. I've been pretty open about my love for Exhale's Cardio Fusion and Barre classes, so I was pretty skeptical when I traded my sticky socks for a pair of cycling shoes. I've only been spinning a handful of times so I was a bit nervous that I wouldn't know what to do or even how to clip my shoes in and out of the pedals, but the staff was so super helpful and friendly in setting us up. Once well all got settled, the lights went down, Rachele our instructor started bumping some seriously good beats, and it was love at first song. The energy and music was amazing and for the entire 45 minutes I felt like I was at the best dance party since Sway circa 2007... when really I was just getting my butt kicked by a fantastic workout. I'm so excited to have discovered Flywheel and am excited to add it to my workout repertoire. It's the perfect way to change things up, have so much fun, and get a stellar workout.
I also won a cute tote + salad blaster from Sweet Green (another Boston favorite)! "Beets don't kale my vibe" It's so fitting for me and my love for beets (and kale!).... get yours here. Thanks to Jessica over at Gluten Fee Boston Girl and to Flywheel for the fantastic afternoon! I've been so super busy these days with work, wedding planning, and life in general that I haven't had a good night sleep or a single second to stop and reflect in weeks. But then I went out to Colorado to do some last minute planning with my mom in Vail and it started to snow.... ...And it snowed.... and snowed... and snowed... ...It snowed so much that I was officially stuck in Colorado for a whole glorious extra day. So I took a sunrise stroll through Ford Park and found the perfect location for our winter wonderland first look coming up in just a few weeks... ... laughed with my mom over cards and coffee and found out how Found out how excited you can make a Mom by installing Emoji on her iPhone... And slept the kind of sleep you can only get when it snows.
